What clients have shared

"Brought in my late father's Seiko 5 — it hadn't been opened in about twelve years. They gave me the timing machine data first, explained exactly what it needed, and returned it running within about two seconds a day. The service record they included was more thorough than I expected."

"I'd been putting off the gasket service on my dive watch for too long. The dry pressure test result they showed me at pickup was reassuring — it confirmed the seals were actually doing their job again. Turnaround was three working days as they said."

"The workshop is smaller than I imagined, but that turned out to be a good sign. You're speaking directly with the person working on your watch, not a front desk. My only mild note — the turnaround stretched closer to 18 working days rather than 14, but I was contacted ahead of time and the watch came back in excellent order."

Suraya Ahmad Bangsar · January 2025

"I specifically appreciated that they didn't push me toward a complete service when a tuning was all that was required. Plenty of workshops would have found a reason to do the bigger job. They showed me the timing data, confirmed it only needed regulation, and that was that."

"Third time I've used them — once for tuning, once for seals, now for a full service on an older Tissot. The consistency is what keeps me coming back. Same process, same level of care each time. The printed record from the complete service was detailed enough that my insurance broker accepted it without question."

Lim Yoke Fang Mont Kiara · February 2025

"Was skeptical about handing over a vintage Longines that belonged to my grandfather — the kind of watch you can't replace. They were careful with the intake, thorough in what they communicated, and returned it running properly for the first time in years. That matters more than I can adequately explain."

In detail — a few case notes

Longer accounts of how the work unfolded for specific watch types.

1970s Citizen automatic — complete movement service after 18 years unserviced

The Situation

The client's inherited watch was running but stopping unpredictably. Timing readings showed amplitude below 200° — indicating severe lubrication depletion and mainspring fatigue. The movement had not been opened in at least 18 years.

What Was Done

Full movement disassembly and 4-stage ultrasonic cleaning. Mainspring and click spring replaced. All jewel pivots relubricated to specification. Six-position regulation and 48-hour test conducted before casing.

Outcome

Post-service amplitude recovered to 280°. Rate stabilised at +3 seconds per day across positions. The watch now runs reliably and the client has the service record for ongoing reference. Turnaround: 19 working days.

Swiss-made diver — seal replacement ahead of an overseas trip

The Situation

The client was travelling to Langkawi and wanted confidence that their dive watch was properly sealed before entering water. Original seals had not been replaced in four years. Timing was acceptable — no full service required.

What Was Done

Caseback, crown tube, crystal, and pushbutton seals removed and replaced with compatible Cousins gaskets. Dry pressure test carried out at 10 ATM. Case cleaned externally. Service scoped to seals only — no additional work recommended or performed.

Outcome

All seal points passed the pressure test without issue. Watch returned within 3 working days with test documentation. Client used the watch throughout the trip without incident and returned for the timing tuning service six months later.

ETA 2824-2 movement — tuning only, scope kept narrow

The Situation

A recently purchased pre-owned piece was running fast — approximately 22 seconds per day gain. The movement had been serviced two years prior by the previous owner. The client asked about a complete service; the diagnostic said otherwise.

What Was Done

Timing machine readings confirmed amplitude at 285° and beat error within acceptable range. The issue was limited to regulator position. Balance regulator adjusted in small steps across two sessions. No disassembly required or recommended.

Outcome

Rate corrected to +2 seconds per day. Service record showed before and after timing data. Client was advised to return in three years for a complete service, timed to align with the movement's standard service interval. Completed same day.
