Definitions

Throughout this document, the following terms carry the meanings stated below:

• "Company", "We", "Us", "Our" — Tourbillon Nook, operating at 67 Jalan Imbi, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
• "Service" — Any watch repair, servicing, or related activity carried out by Tourbillon Nook, whether in-person or arranged through our website.
• "User", "You", "Your" — Any individual accessing our website or engaging our services.
• "Website" — The online presence of Tourbillon Nook accessible at https://tourbillonsi.club.
• "Agreement" — These Terms & Conditions in their entirety, as updated from time to time.
• "Content" — Text, imagery, descriptions, and all other materials published on the Website.
• "Watch / Timepiece" — Any horological instrument brought to us for assessment or servicing.

Section 2

Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our Website, submitting an enquiry, or handing a timepiece to our workshop for any service, you confirm that:

• You are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter this Agreement.
• You have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
• Where you act on behalf of a company or organisation, you have the authority to bind that entity to these terms.

If you do not agree with any part of these terms, we ask that you refrain from using our services or Website.

Section 3

Service Description

Tourbillon Nook offers watch repair and servicing for mechanical and selected quartz timepieces. Our current service offerings include:

• Mechanical Watch Tuning — rate and accuracy adjustment without full disassembly.
• Gasket & Seal Replacement — restoration of environmental resistance seals.
• Complete Movement Service — full internal disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, and regulation.

Services are available at our physical premises in Kuala Lumpur during business hours. Enquiries may also be submitted via our Website contact form, by phone, or by email.

We reserve the right to decline a service request where, in our assessment, the condition of a timepiece falls outside our current service scope, or where spare parts cannot be sourced within a reasonable period.

Section 4

User Responsibilities

When using our Website or engaging our services, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information when submitting enquiries or drop-off forms.
• Disclose any known condition, fault history, or prior repair work on a timepiece before service commences.
• Collect your timepiece within 60 days of notification that service is complete. Uncollected items may be subject to storage fees thereafter.
• Refrain from using our Website for any unlawful purpose or in a manner that disrupts service to others.
• Not attempt to reproduce, distribute, or use any Website content without our prior written consent.

You are responsible for ensuring that any timepiece you bring for servicing is legally owned by you or that you have the owner's authorisation to arrange servicing.

Section 5

Intellectual Property

All content on the Tourbillon Nook Website — including but not limited to text, service descriptions, visual design, and imagery — is owned by or licensed to Tourbillon Nook. No part of this Website may be reproduced, copied, or republished without our written consent.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and view Website content for personal, non-commercial purposes only. This licence does not include the right to download, modify, or redistribute content.

Section 6

Payment Terms

• All prices are quoted and payable in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR).
• A written service quotation will be provided before work commences. Work will not begin without your approval of the quoted scope and price.
• Payment is due in full upon collection of the timepiece. We accept cash, debit transfer, and major credit cards.
• Should additional work be required that was not foreseeable at the time of quotation, we will contact you before proceeding. You retain the right to decline any additional scope.
• If you decline the additional scope and wish to collect the watch in its current state, a partial assessment fee may apply to cover workshop time already invested.
• Refunds are considered on a case-by-case basis if a service cannot be completed for reasons within our control. Parts already sourced or labour already performed may be non-refundable.

Section 7

Service-Specific Terms

7.1 Mechanical Watch Tuning

This service addresses rate accuracy only. It does not include disassembly or internal cleaning. Where timing readings indicate a deeper mechanical issue, we will advise accordingly before proceeding. Turnaround is same day to 2 working days, subject to workshop load at time of drop-off.

7.2 Gasket & Seal Replacement

Pressure testing confirms seal integrity at the time of service. We do not warrant against subsequent seal degradation from exposure to extreme temperatures, chemicals, or depth beyond manufacturer specifications. Turnaround is 2–4 working days.

7.3 Complete Movement Service

This full-scope service covers all internal components. Worn parts are replaced; we will seek your approval for any replacement parts that carry a significant additional cost. Turnaround is 14–21 working days from confirmation of scope. Timekeeping results following service depend in part on the age, condition, and manufacturer tolerances of the movement.

7.4 General Service Conditions

• Tourbillon Nook is not responsible for pre-existing damage identified during inspection that was not visible externally.
• We photograph each timepiece upon receipt. These records are retained for dispute resolution purposes.
• Risk of loss or damage during postal transit (where applicable) rests with the sender until the item is received at our premises.

Section 8

Disclaimers

• Services are provided on an "as assessed" basis. While we take care in our work, we make no representation that a timepiece will achieve a specific accuracy standard after service, given the variability of aged calibres.
• Information on our Website is provided for general guidance only and does not constitute professional horological advice specific to your timepiece.
• We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or acting as an authorised service centre for any watch manufacturer unless explicitly stated.

Section 9

Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted under Malaysian law, Tourbillon Nook's total liability to you in connection with any service shall not exceed the amount paid for that specific service.

We shall not be liable for:

• Indirect or consequential loss, including sentimental or collectible value beyond the stated service fee.
• Loss arising from events beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including natural events, civil unrest, or supply chain disruption.
• Pre-existing damage or faults not disclosed at the time of drop-off.

Nothing in this clause limits liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Section 10

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Tourbillon Nook, its staff, and agents harmless from any claim, loss, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of our Website, your breach of these terms, or any false or misleading information you provide in connection with a service request.

Section 11

Termination

Either party may end a service arrangement before work commences, provided reasonable notice is given. Once disassembly has begun on a Complete Movement Service, cancellation may incur a partial fee for work performed to that point.

We reserve the right to refuse or discontinue service to any individual who has acted in bad faith, provided materially false information, or whose conduct is disrespectful toward our staff.

Section 12

Dispute Resolution

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from our services will first be addressed through direct discussion between the parties.

Should informal resolution not be possible, either party may refer the matter to the Tribunal for Consumer Claims Malaysia (Tribunal Tuntutan Pengguna Malaysia) for disputes within the applicable monetary threshold, or to the courts of Malaysia for matters outside that scope.

The jurisdiction for any formal proceedings is Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Section 13

General Provisions

• Entire Agreement: These Terms & Conditions, together with any written service quotation, constitute the full agreement between you and Tourbillon Nook.
• Severability: If any provision is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full effect.
• Waiver: Failure by either party to enforce any provision does not constitute a waiver of the right to enforce it in future.
• Assignment: You may not assign your rights under this Agreement without our prior written consent.
• Notices: Formal notices should be sent to [email protected] or in writing to our Kuala Lumpur address.

Section 14

Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our services, pricing structure, or applicable law. The revised version will be published on this page with an updated effective date.

Continued use of our Website or services after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. If you have an active service arrangement at the time of an update, the terms in effect at the date of your drop-off will apply to that arrangement.
